Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Do the workings of the mind fascinate you? What about the fascinating ways the people behave, and their complex and diverse interactions with others? Students interested in the North Carolina A&T Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology are likely to answer "yes" to both those questions.
The goal of the B.A. program is to immerse students in the ideas and concepts relevant to the discipline and study of psychology.
As an academic department of the John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences, Psychology encourages interdisciplinary learning, prepares students for studies in graduate school and for jobs requiring knowledge in psychology. We also train students how to conduct basic and applied research.
We pursue these goals through high-quality classroom instruction, departmental colloquia and student organizations, internship opportunities, independent study and individualized research projects.
