Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

Available for current freshmen (2-year, 3-year, or 4-year scholarships), sophomores and juniors with at least 4 semesters remaining to graduate (2-year scholarship), and seniors planning to attend graduate school.

  • Scholarships pay: 
    • Full tuition and mandatory fees or room & board
    • A book allowance per semester
    • A tax-free stipend based on academic status during the academic year ($420 per month for Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors) once you are a contracted Cadet
  • Basic Course scholarships are 2-year scholarships and require attendance at Cadet Summer Training (CST) the summer between the academic sophomore and junior year.  A conditional contract must be signed prior to attending CST signifying the individual is interested in a career as an Army Officer;  the contract will not become binding, however, until the individual returns to school for the junior year and takes an oath from the Professor of Military Science

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be at least 17 years of age and must not reach 31 years of age before December 31st of the year you graduate from college and receive your commission
  • Have a minimum college GPA of 2.0
  • Have no moral or personal conviction that will prevent you from:
    • Bearing arms
    • Supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States
  • Receive a waiver for any arrest or civil conviction (if applicable)

Although medical qualification is not required to enroll in ROTC, medical qualification is required in order to enroll in the advance course. 

To receive scholarship benefits you must also agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army National Guard, or U.S. Army Reserve) upon graduation and receipt of your commission.
