Postdoc opening synthesis of materials
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Chemistry, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The project funded by DOE-BES will involve fundamental research, in collaboration with Caltech (California Institute of Technology), on direct air capture and conversion of CO2 to value-added chemicals.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- Ph.D. in chemistry awarded within the last three years, specializing in CO2 capture and conversion.
- A strong experimental background with research focuses on the synthesis of materials for CO2 capture, CO2 binding studies, and electrochemical reduction is desired. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of publication and/or presentation of research findings and experience with grant proposal writing.
