John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences

Masters of Science In Health Psychology

The Master of Science in Health Psychology degree program prepares students to address the  relationships between physical and mental health. This program prepares students for jobs and doctoral programs that emphasize mental and physical illness prevention, health promotion and strategies to identify and address health disparities.

  • It is an excellent precursor for those students who would like to pursue a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in health psychology or clinical psychology.
  • Some coursework is offered on campus, while other courses are provided online.
  • Classes are currently taught in-person during the day and evening, with plans to add online and hybrid classes next year.
