Office of Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management is a department within the North Carolina A&T State University Police Department. Its primary functions are to ensure the university is prepared to respond to, recover from and mitigate the effects of disasters that could adversely affect the health, safety and/or general welfare of students, faculty, staff, visitors and families.
The Office of Emergency Management strives to provide a safe, disaster resilient university through a comprehensive emergency management program. This program encompasses the phases of preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery. We incorporate partnerships with local, state, federal and private entities. These relationships allow us to support the growth and promote the safety of the academic community.
