FIT
The FIT Living Learning Community provides structured academic, social, and professional experiences for first and second-year Sports Science and Fitness Management (SSFM) students. Participants examine exercise science and/or related discipline’s leadership models, develop a practical understanding of sport organizational administrative functioning, and participate in collaboratively planned leisure activities.
Program Goals
Foster positive interpersonal relationships between first and second-year SSFM majors during students' first academic year on campus at North Carolina A & T State University.
- Immerse first and second-year SSFM majors into the academic and social culture of the University.
- Promote the opportunity to raise performance levels through collaboration and support.
Target Population
- First-year students who are SSFM majors. Students who are in the program their Freshman year may continue in their subsequent year based on approval from the program.
