Psychology Club

The Psychology Club is open to all psychology majors. Its purpose is to offer students an avenue for educational and social networking. It also involves our majors in university and community service through various campus activities and social projects.

 

Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi)

ABPsi sees its mission and destiny as the liberation of the African mind, empowerment of the African character and enlivenment and illumination of the African spirit.

 

Psi Chi National Honor Society

The purpose of Psi Chi is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship and advanced psychology as a science. A particular grade standard must be met before induction into this organization. Although there is an emphasis on grades, the students in this organization also lend themselves to the betterment of both the university and Greensboro communities.

Psi Chi requirements include:

  • Psychology major or minor
  • Completion of 36 hours of college courses
  • Two semesters as a full-time student prior to applying
  • 9 hours of psychology courses at N.C. A&T
  • 3.0 overall GPA
  • 3.2 GPA in psychology courses
  • Good standard of personal behavior
  • Last semester seniors are not eligible
  • Applications are accepted each fall and spring semester.

*Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays in NSB 215 at 5 p.m. You must be an inducted member of the N.C. A&T chapter to attend.
